Panadol Cold & Flu is an over-the-counter medicine that fights common cold and flu symptoms like stuffy nose, fever, headaches, and runny eyes. It has three main helpers:

  • Pseudoephedrine: Clears blocked noses by shrinking swollen tissues so you can breathe easier.
  • Paracetamol (Acetaminophen): Eases pain and lowers fever without upsetting your stomach.
  • Chlorpheniramine: Stops sneezing, itching, and drippy noses from colds or allergies.

Common Side Effects: You might feel drowsy, dizzy, have a dry mouth, nausea, nervousness, blurred vision, or trouble sleeping. Rare but serious ones include allergic reactions like rash, swelling, or fast heartbeat—stop use and see a doctor right away if these happen.

Take as directed—great for quick comfort, but see a doctor if symptoms last or side effects bother you.

It's designed to relieve symptoms of colds and flu, like nasal congestion, fever, sore throat, headache, sinus pain, and muscle aches. The paracetamol helps with pain and fever, while pseudoephedrine clears stuffy noses.

Avoid it if you're allergic to paracetamol or pseudoephedrine, have high blood pressure, heart issues, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, overactive thyroid, or kidney problems (unless your doctor says it's okay). Don't take it if you're under 12, pregnant, breastfeeding, or on certain antidepressants like MAOIs.

Adults: Take 2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, up to 8 tablets in 24 hours. Teens 12-18: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, max 8 in 24 hours, but not more than 48 hours without advice. Don't exceed the dose or use for over 5 days.

You might feel drowsy, dizzy, nervous, have a dry mouth, nausea, trouble sleeping, or a fast heartbeat. Rare serious ones include allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing issues), high blood pressure, or hallucinations—stop use and see a doctor immediately if these happen.

No, avoid it unless your doctor approves, as it could harm the baby or pass into breast milk.

Tell your doctor about any other meds, especially blood thinners, antidepressants, or high blood pressure drugs, as interactions can occur. Limit alcohol, as it may increase liver risks with paracetamol.

Get emergency help right away—even if you feel fine—as overdose can cause serious liver damage. Call poison control or go to the ER.

Not for under 12s. For 12-17, only short-term (up to 48 hours) with doctor advice.

Keep in a cool, dry place below 30°C, out of kids' reach, in the original pack. Don't use after expiry.

Yes, the paracetamol can help with pain and fever related to COVID-19 or after vaccination.
